The City of Tumwater and South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) are working together on two exciting projects—renovating the old Brewhouse Tower and creating a Craft Brewing and Distilling Center in Tumwater.

What do these efforts have in common? Both projects build on Tumwater’s brewing legacy and will bring brewing back to the region. At the February 1 Schmidt House History Talk, attendees will learn about project updates and timelines from Tumwater City Administrator John Doan, SPSCC Dean Valerie Sundby-Thorp and City of Tumwater Communications Manager Ann Cook. The Schmidt House History Talks are part of the Olympia Tumwater Foundation’s Heritage Builders program.
