It’s always a pleasure to welcome long-time local historian Shanna Stevenson to our noon hour history talks.  She is a noted expert in the State of Washington on the topic of women’s history.  She’ll localize that statewide knowledge, highlighting our local women and how much of an impact they’ve had on our communities.  The influence goes well beyond getting the right to vote.  You’ll want to come for this illustrated presentation.

“Heritage Builders” is the local history program of the Olympia Tumwater Foundation. Thank you to our program partners, the City of Tumwater and Thurston Community Media.

Free admission: donations gratefully accepted. The doors open at 11:30 a.m., the program begins at noon and close at capacity.
