The conference is a time for local historians to share projects and goals, and encourage colleagues in their ventures and plans. It’s not a seminar or a public presentation; just a time of discovery and communication that helps renew our shared passion for local history. A mix of both previous and first-time attendees will represent a wide variety of interests and geographic areas of the county. With a limit of 20 people at each conference, each person has a chance to share and hear what others are doing locally.
This is a free conference, with a complimentary lunch, at the Schmidt House, the 1904 home of the founders of the Olympia Brewing Company, but we do ask that you register with Don Trosper, Public History Manager by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling (360) 786-8117.
