Join Olympia Tumwater Foundation for a guided Riverwalk exploring the beauty, ecology, and importance of native plants found throughout Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls.
Led by Carrie Smith, this walk will highlight the Park’s Native Plant Garden and introduce participants to native species growing throughout the landscape. Learn how native plants support wildlife, strengthen ecosystems, and connect us to place while enjoying an easy walk through one of the region’s most beloved parks.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener, curious nature lover, or simply looking for a peaceful evening outdoors, this tour offers a chance to slow down and see the Park in a whole new way.
About the Guide
Carrie Smith is a graduate candidate in the Master of Environmental Studies program at The Evergreen State College and a graduate of the Washington Native Plant Society’s Native Plant Steward Program. Carrie brings a thoughtful and accessible approach to plant education and enjoys helping people discover the stories and relationships rooted in local landscapes.
