Join us for this year's Summer at the Schmidt event series!
We’re excited to announce a new event series, Summer at the Schmidt! Join us at Tumwater’s Schmidt House July 18th for the Speakeasy Garden Party, and August 8th for the Midsummer Night’s Dream experience.
Both events will begin at 6pm and end at 9:30pm. Limited tickets are available and will go on sale in June. Each Summer at the Schmidt event will feature themed entertainment, food, and drinks. About the Events
Speakeasy Garden Party – Thursday, July 18th 6pm-9:30pm
Experience the roaring 20’s on the grounds of the Schmidt House. Play croquet on the expansive lawn in your best dress, discover a hidden Speakeasy inside the Schmidt House where hand-crafted drinks are made, and enjoy live music, a silent film, and other activities that bring back the Prohibition era. Proceeds will fund a music scholarship for Tumwater students through the Olympia Tumwater Foundation scholarship program.
Midsummer Night’s Dream – Thursday, August 8th 6pm-9:30pm
Walk into a whimsical fair with live aerialists, music, and activities. Enjoy themed food and drink while you stroll through the grounds and rose garden. Other entertainment will surprise you throughout the night. Proceeds will benefit the Procession of the Species organization.
